F.A.Q.

No. Villa Torrent is not a treatment, detox, or a replacement for professional care . It is a recovery retreat for people who are sober and want to invest in rest, routine, reflection, and connection with others in the same situation. ⚠️ Important information: Villa Torrent is not a treatment facility, rehab clinic, or therapy center. We do not offer medical detox, treatment, or therapy. Our recovery retreat is intended for people already in recovery and seeking rest, reflection, and connection in a safe, supportive environment. For urgent care or medical detox, we refer you to certified healthcare providers such as your general practitioner, mental health provider, or addiction treatment provider.
For sober or alcohol-free participants who resonate with a calm, supportive environment — for example:
People in early recovery (for instance, waiting for appropriate support or going through a more vulnerable phase).People who have been in recovery longer and are looking for a peaceful place with like-minded others.Guests who feel the need for a reset and want to reconnect with structure and healthy rhythms.People in long-term recovery who want maintenance, reflection, and rest.Anyone consciously choosing a sober lifestyle and looking for space to slow down and reconnect. Not sure if it’s the right fit? A short introduction call is always the best place to start.
Yes. This retreat is designed for participants who arrive sober and remain sober throughout their stay. Alcohol and drugs are simply not part of the program.
This can happen—and you're not alone. We offer structure, peace of mind, support, and a safe environment . However, in the event of serious complaints or a crisis, professional help is needed; we'll discuss in advance what's appropriate and what your plan is for when things get tough.
Often, yes. The retreat can complement your recovery journey, but it doesn't take over your care. If you're undergoing treatment, it's helpful if you let us know (in general terms) so we know what you need in terms of boundaries and safety.
Yes, taking prescribed medication is no problem. Please bring enough and let us know if there are any practical requirements we need to consider (e.g., refrigeration or fixed intake times).
We work with a small group , so there is peace and quiet, room for personal attention and you do not have the feeling that you have to "join the crowd".
There's a nice balance between structure and freedom . Think of: walking/nature, (healthy) cooking and eating, rest periods, perhaps yoga/breathing/reflection, and time for reading or swimming. You don't have to be "on" all day.
Yes. Let us know your preferences and allergies in advance, and we'll take them into account. Healthy eating isn't a project here, it's just how we do it.
Yes: there's super-fast Starlink internet . So you can still be reachable. At the same time, many people find that a little less screen time can be quite nice—but that's your choice.
We arrange airport transfers (pick-up and drop-off) and transportation during the retreat. After you register, we'll coordinate your arrival time with you and make it convenient.
After registering, you'll receive a short packing list. Think: comfortable walking shoes, light clothing (and something warm for the evening), swimwear, and perhaps a notebook. Less is more.
What's shared here stays here. We work with a small group and keep it safe and discreet . No names, no details shared. Period.
This is only allowed in designated outdoor areas (not indoors). If this is a sensitive issue for you (e.g., you've just stopped), please let us know and we'll take that into account.
